Hello and welcome to our chapter! My name is Grace Pecore and I currently and proudly serve as the Chapter President of the Wisconsin Delta chapter of Pi Beta Phi at Marquette University. 

Pi Beta Phi has, without a doubt, been the best part of my time at Marquette.  I’ve had so many leadership opportunities to serve on our executive board twice, attend our national conference, but most importantly made my sisters for life.  The opportunity to grow as an individual and have leadership opportunities are things that are available to each sister.

Pi Beta Phi offers the opportunity to be yourself within a sisterhood where you’re always supported.  This is what I am most proud of about our chapter, and this tradition carries back to the very beginning of when Wisconsin Delta was founded in 1990. Each sister is unique and has their own background and story, but are loved for who they are.  Our chapter is diverse in many ways and many of our sisters are involved not only in Pi Phi but other organizations on campus, including Marquette Dance, Inc., a Moment of Magic, and the Marquette Wire.  We encourage members to live out their full selves and interests while being part of our close sisterhood.

Our chapter lives out Pi Beta Phi’s core values:  integrity, lifelong commitment, honor and respect, philanthropic service to others, personal and intellectual growth, and sincere friendship. 

Pi Beta Phi’s philanthropy surrounds children’s literacy, and works with  Read < Lead < Achieve and we work with children in the Milwaukee community with our Champions Are Readers Program, as well as our fundraising efforts on campus, which all are welcome to participate in and attend. Our favorite philanthropy event is Pie a Pi Phi where Marquette’s President, President Lovell was even Pied for our event. 

We are also so lucky to have the newest house on campus and I have loved all of the memories I’ve made here with my sisters since it opened last fall.
